That said... what is happening today and what has happened recently is NOT DRAMA! It's not a bunch of women fighting. We aren't fighting as much as we're taking a stand.

The community banding together to fight the ridiculous idea that SINGLE WORDS can and should be trademarked is NOT DRAMA.
Drama is perpetuating a story without evidence. An application filed by an agent/attorney at the bequest of her client (her words not mine) is EVIDENCE.
Standing up and saying this is ASININE and must STOP isn't drama and it isn't pitch-forks. It's sisterhood. It's a community that cares. It's #Cocktales.
I ask that people quit referring to it as DRAMA. In doing so it lessens the potential impact that these practices have on setting a precedent that is hurtful and harmful to the community as a whole.
I'm not standing for or against the person in question today...I'm standing AGAINST the practice. I'm simply stating, it isn't DRAMA. It's my LIFE.
